Setting up an electronic system to record health data during disaster response is crucial. It improves crisis management quality, lowers casualties, and boosts healthcare service efficiency. Policymaker support and enough funding are essential to develop and maintain this system. This policy brief outlines the challenges and offers strategic recommendations for building and launching an electronic health data system for disasters and emergencies.
