Introduction: In today’s world by the appearance and the rapid growth of new information technologies, the presence of an expert for finding the information has an important role to meet information needs in medical university. This study was aimed to survey the attitudes of graduate students in presenting medical librarian services in searching and finding information process.
Method: This study is a practical and descriptive-analytical survey. The study population consisted of 650 graduate basic science students in Kerman medical university. In this research, the sample size was selected 150 cases by Cochrane formula and as a simple random. Validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts and for measuring reliability, interior/internal consistency method (Cronbach coefficient equal to 82%) was used. Data was analyzed using SPSS.v18 software.
 Results: In our population study of graduate basic science students in Kerman university of medical sciences, 60.7% were approved with searching and retrieval information services by medical librarians, 61.7% were agreed with the searching services by medical librarians and 61.3 % were approved the educational services by medical librarians and finally the graduate students’ mean attitudes about searching and retrieval information services was evaluated 4.13 which was in desirable level.
Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the students have a positive attitude toward medical library services and medical librarians played very important role for giving educational and research services, researching and retrieval information in university system.
